CHIHULY

BOOK TO ACCOMPANY EXHIBITION

In October 2011, the directors of Halcyon Gallery in Mayfair, London asked Kath to produce, write and edit a large 200pp book to accompany a major show by Seattle based artist Dale Chihuly.

Kath invited Jennifer Hawkins Opie, former Curator of Glass and Ceramics at the V&A to write the foreword, and the art critic Matthew Collings to write the lead essay. Kath researched and wrote sections on Chihuly's working method and his work in the UK, collaborating with Chihuly's team in Seattle to edit text about the works.

The book was designed by Kate Stockdale and published in-house. A selection of prints are included in a sleeve inside the front cover.
