I write, edit, research, and produce content.


I also work with designers and publishers, to manage production of books and other kinds of publication, from cover and layout design to final proof.

A Day Trip to Banksy's Dismaland, Book



Not for nothing did the world's most famous street artist choose Weston Super Mare as the venue for his harshest satire fest to date. Together with Barry Cawston, I wrote for, edited and produced a 250 page book to accompany the exhibition. More:




Harry Weinberger, Expressionist painter (1924-2009)



I produced a retrospective exhibition of Harry's work in 2004 for The Royal Pump Rooms, Warwickshire. Ten years on, I presented at a symposium about the artist and his great pal, Iris Murdoch, and in 2016, Harry's family asked me to write a biog and artist CV. More:




Banksy: the Bristol Legacy, Edited by Professor Paul Gough



'Banksy v the Museum' exhibition at Bristol City Art Gallery in 2009 (bankrolled entirely by the artist) brought in huge economic and cultural benefits for the city. 300,000 people saw the show. What does the city offer artists in return? Professor Paul Gough (UWE & RMIT Universities) asked me to contribute an essay on the subject to his book. More:

'Capturing the Invisible' brings Jeff Robb's series of lenticular 3D works together in one volume for the first time. I oversaw design, edited content, and wrote selected chapters.
